    ​Using a variety of media, budding artists will improve their drawing and painting skills alongside new friends. Students will practice patience as they discover how to make their own artistic ideas come to life. Persevering despite making mistakes is a reoccurring theme, and kids are delighted when they make something beautiful. We discuss how to communicate big ideas with a simple visual, occasionally incorporating Biblical themes into the lesson when appropriate. Sibling discount available.

    Intro to colored pencil techniques - use fades, blends & layers, then creating their own work using techniques & developed skills. Line drawing & value drawing.  As students progress, they paint a pastel flower or will paint a 12 watercolor technique sheet before doing a nature scene.

    To use the studio, students must have taken Drawing and Painting classes and be approved by the teacher.

    Parent information is required if student is not 18 years or older
