Students should bring a journal and note pad to class. A laptop computer can be a secondary asset, but the preference is pen or pencil to paper. Students should wear comfortable clothing and shoes that allow for easy, comfortable, and free flowing movement. Suggested reading, handouts, and exercises will be sent via email each week.
Depending on the art forms and expressions chosen by each student, the use of household items and/or purchased materials from local art stores like Michael’s can be utilized, costing as little or as much as the student desires to invest. More information will be provided in class.
Students are also welcome to purchase any of the following books and/or texts for personal enrichment, but these are not a requirement:
